The Latin American Cultural Center is part of the Regional Asset District

June 24, 2024

We are thrilled to announce that the Latin American Cultural Center (LACC) is part of the Regional Asset District (RAD)!

In December, RAD approved a grant to LACC. This new collaboration marks a significant milestone for the Center and brings a wealth of opportunities to celebrate and share the rich cultural heritage of Latin America with an even broader audience. As part of RAD, LACC will continue to offer vibrant programming, cultural events, and educational initiatives that highlight the diversity and creativity of Latin American traditions. LACC will also offer RAD days during the year.

Also as part of RAD, The Latin American Cultural Center is now part of the RAD pass program. RAD Pass is an online ticket lending system that allows Allegheny County library cardholders ages 18+ to access free or discounted tickets to local attractions, making our region’s cultural resources available and accessible to everyone. Right now, LACC is offering a maximum of five free tickets per cardholder for people to visit the Center. These tickets must be reserved in advance and used during the open hours at LACC, Tuesday through Friday: 10 am to 2 pm.

Exhibits and related programming will be open to school groups who wish to explore this incredible region of our world. A large exhibit gallery is reserved for featuring changing presentations of special topics related to this vast geographical area.
