A Panamanian Visual Storyteller Bringing Culture to Life
Luis Carlos García is a Panamanian photographer, cinematographer, documentary filmmaker, and brand image consultant with more than twenty-five years of international experience. Founder of LCG Studios, he has built a career combining cinematic storytelling, photography, and documentary research, producing advertising campaigns, editorial portraits, and acclaimed documentary work, including his feature-length film Heritage Devil Dances of Panama, the result of over eight years documenting one of the country’s most significant cultural traditions.
Luis is contributing his talent to a special exhibit “Crossroads of the World: Panama” at LACC celebrating Panama’s identity. Drawing from his personal collection, he is providing photographs and videos that showcase the country’s culture, traditions, ethnic diversity, and national brand, including traditional costumes and masks passed down through generations. His contribution helps the exhibition present the richness of Panama through the eyes of one of its most accomplished visual artists, offering audiences an authentic and deeply personal look at the country’s heritage.
